thereupon, adv.

thereupon |ðɛːrəˈpɒn|
adverb

I read somewhere that you don’t really grow up unless you’ve had your first heartbreak. The heartbreak doesn’t necessarily have to be a result of a lost lover, but it can be anything in life that you prioritized but didn’t treat you the same way.

And after the dreadful heartache and miserable nights, everything is going splendidly well.

Things do get better in the end. There’s always a pleasant view at the top of the hill you’ve just climbed. And it’s such a wonderful feeling; there’s nothing like it.
