Our Last Battle: End with A Bang and Not A Whimper

The past three years have blissfully whirred by.

We walked into the school hallways not knowing what to expect, who we’ll become when we eventually walk out, and how we’ll transform.

In a way, we blindly put our faith into these school walls.

Three years of experiencing the confusion of choosing, discovering the mystery within ourselves, exploring the endless possibilities that lies to our future are coming to close. During those times, a lot of the fights were personal, private and secluded. Nobody knew what the boy had to go through to receive his outstanding TOEFL score; nobody knew how many universities she was rejected from before she held her acceptance letter high with pride.

It was all an intertwining mess of dream-searching and hope-finding, all going in their separate ways but mashing into each other in the process.

Now, it’s time for one last fight, one last battle together.

It’s amazing how all the individuals involved are now acting as one, fighting as one, and are actually going for the same goal. The whole school is doing it: all of the seniors, all of the teachers, and all of our respected families.

This is it. One more week till the final battle of our soon-to-be-ending school lives.

End with a bang and not a whimper.
